Postdoctoral Research Associate
About the Opportunity
Professor Hongli Zhu, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research in polymer synthesis and modification (polymer, ceramic, lithium metal, solid state energy storage). Responsibilities include performing basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods. Assisting the supervisor in the interpretation and publication of results and grants. Maintaining the laboratory and may exercise functional supervision over supporting research staff. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.
Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar. Successful candidate is enthusiastic, and self motivated from diverse backgrounds and disciplines; including electrochemical engineering, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer engineering or related fields.
