Job Summary

Serves as a key member of the CTO leadership team within ITS providing leadership and oversight for the department of Life Safety and Construction Planning.

Additionally, the director is the lead representative for ITS on all university construction projects, university police initiatives, and university housing technology needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in planning, implementation, and assessment of Life Safety Technologies
  • Ensures that University construction projects adequately provide for technology needs
  • Acts as primary liaison to key University customers.
  • Works with other ITS leaders to ensure the success of infrastructure initiatives
  • Advises ITS Executive Leadership on new and relevant technologies in Life Safety and construction space
  • Fosters innovation and resolves complex issues with innovative solutions
  • Directs and champions continuous improvement activities to ensure maturity levels continue to be achieved
  • Manages, guides, mentors, motivates, and leads the departmental team towards the accomplishment of project goals
  • Directs Data Center technology, strategy, and external relations/partnerships


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Five (5) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree


Proposed Salary

$84,100 - $90,514

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
