Job Description
The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach Flight Department is seeking a Videographer/Photographer who will be responsible for recording events and editing footage while working independently or with a small crew. This part-time position will provide approximately 10-20 hours per week intermittently depending on workload. There may be periods of time with no scheduled hours.
The videographer/photographer may interview people and collaborate with team members to obtain all the footage required for a shoot.
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide direction are a must. The best candidate will be proficient with a variety of camera types, lenses, light systems, sound recording equipment, and other necessary hardware. Experience with a variety of software products, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and After Effects is necessary. The videographer/photographer should also be able to troubleshoot problems/issues with the equipment, and repair the equipment they use, if possible, to avoid downtime.

- Associate degree in Video Production, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience using professional recording equipment.
- Knowledge of video editing software, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Fluent with Microsoft operating systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
- Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds of video equipment.
- Aviation experience is a plus.
