Job Summary
Come join the College of Lake County’s P-20 Educational Partnerships Department, a high-functioning team committed to equity-minded practice, student success, and collaborative partnerships. P-20 Educational Partnerships’ mission is to create seamless transitions to post-secondary educational opportunities and career pathways for all students, with a special emphasis on advancing equity and closing opportunity gaps for historically marginalized students. Currently, the department is doing this by giving high school students access to CLC’s courses and CLC credit through dual credit and articulated credit partnerships.
The Manager will support this work by leading, managing, and supervising the dual credit and articulated credit programming at CLC, as described in the essential job functions. The position will support and expand the current growth in our dual credit and articulated credit programs and will report to the Director for P-20 Educational Partnerships. The ideal candidate has values that align to the department’s commitments; demonstrates strong leadership skills; has the ability to lead and thrive in a compliance-driven environment; and will bring a diverse perspective and innovative ideas to the team. Previous experience with dual credit or articulated credit programs is not required.

Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an educational setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Experience working with and/or presenting to diverse audiences.

Summary of Essential Functions
ARTICULATED CREDIT AND DUAL CREDIT (50%)
- Manage articulated credit and dual credit programming including development of course proposals and MOU’s with high schools.
- Assist with hiring new dual credit faculty, reviewing curriculum, and monitoring student enrollment.
- Create courses in PeopleSoft and technically set up tuition/fee elements.
- Invoice high schools for costs related to dual credit.
- Implement dual credit curriculum alignment and professional development, including processing professional development units and stipends for high school teachers and staff.
- Interpret and apply accreditation criteria, state mandates, and Quality Act guidelines for dual credit and articulated credit.
- Manage audits, reporting, and compliance tracking related to dual credit.
- Create and maintain written processes and protocols for all dual credit and articulated credit programs.
- Set outcome targets and monitor articulated credit and dual credit outcomes on a semester and annual basis.
- Create communication plans for releasing outcome data to
internal and external stakeholders.
DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISION (30%)
- Provide leadership and supervision to the department to implement articulated credit and dual credit initiatives.
- Ensure programming is based on equitable and inclusive practices; increases access and closes opportunity gaps for historically underrepresented and underserved students; and aligns to the strategic plan, college values, equity in access and success plan, college plan, and department goals.
- Supervise the College Readiness and Dual Credit staff, including five full-time coordinators and temporary staff to foster individual growth and ensure excellent service, equity-minded practice, and embodiment of college values.
- Support the development, implementation, and marketing of dual credit pathways.
- Assist with monitoring the budget related to articulated credit and dual credit activities including tracking spending and monitoring temporary staff accounts.
- Assist with the development of appropriate marketing and promotional materials for all programs. Assist with dual credit evaluation and implementation of related improvements.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT / OTHER (20%)
- Foster enhanced collaboration and maintain relationships between CLC, P-12 educational institutions, and other entities that participate in corresponding initiatives, and oversee the related records, correspondence, and communication with P-12 and community partners.
- Develop, maintain, and manage internal relationships with CLC faculty, staff and departments involved in high school outreach and articulated and dual credit.
- Provide support and serve on college committees and commissions that are involved in college and career readiness outreach and articulated and dual credit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
