General Summary: In collaboration with the senior director of graduate enrollment, the Associate Director leads graduate and post-bacc student admission and recruitment within the guidelines of federal, state and local laws and office, division and college policies and procedures. The Associate Director is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals, and for managing the admission process. The Associate Director supervises graduate admission staff and collaborates with co-workers, prospective students and alumn i in seeking, attracting and maintaining candidates for admission and enroll ment to graduate and post-bacc programs at Agnes Scott College.

Essential Job Functions:

Recruitment & Enrollment Management:

  1. Develops and implements strategies for graduate and post-bacc student recruitment and admission to achieve enrollment goals.
  2. Supervises graduate admission staff, providing inclusive leadership to accomplish priorities as outlined by the senior director of graduate enrollment.
  3. Manages the implementation of graduate/post-bacc student recruitment activities, including retention and yield events, timely outreach, graduate school fairs, and related activities.
  4. Provide optimal customer service to interpret college and graduate admission policies and practices to applicants, students, alumni, and staff in a variety of settings including webinars, in-person events, college visits, college fairs, and related meetings.
  5. Manages timely decision-processing, including ensuring applicant files are complete, evaluating applicants for admission in accordance with program guidelines, recommending grants, scholarships, etc., and ensuring the timely release of decisions once rendered by the senior director.
  6. Collaborates with Graduate Studies staff and other college staff to ensure successful onboarding of students through various student services and college systems.


Application & Systems Management:

  1. Maintains graduate student applicant records, tracks applications, and processes decisions utilizing the Slate CRM tool.
  2. Manage correspondence within CRM from prospect to matriculation. Implements strategic email marketing drip campaigns.
  3. Prepares and sends admission decision letters.
  4. Monitors implementation and oversight of technology related to application and enrollment functions and maintains data integrity. Provides oversight and maintenance of essential applicant functions in CRM, including forms, application updates, and related processing.


REQUIREMENTS

Education : Bachelor's degree in related occupational field of study. Master's degree preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years work experience in admission (preferably graduate admission) or a related field. Management experience preferred. Slate CRM experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

∙ Proficiency with Slate CRM, word processing and spreadsheet software (MS Word, Excel).

∙ Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

∙ Collaborative work-style in a deadline-driven environment.

∙ Strong organizational, technical and analytical skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

∙ Desire to support a diverse and inclusive campus environment.

∙ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.

∙ Irregular, weekend and evening hours are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, and occasional moving of light objects. Work is performed in an office.
