Position Summary

90.5 WSNC -FM, The Triad’s Jazz Station, is looking to fill the position of Administrative Support Associate to the General Manager. This position will coordinate most of the business-related tasks of WSNC -FM. These tasks are specific to our radio operations and include, but not limited to leadership, strategic planning, coordinating our financial processing, preparing financial statements/reports, invoices, letters, memos, presentations, coordinate radio traffic system (announcement scheduling) and provide Underwriter/Advancement support. Radio training and/or experience is not required but requested.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

WSNC -FM is a public radio station licensed to Winston-Salem State University. The primary function of this organizational unit is to operate the University’s 10,000-watt radio station which provides education and training services to students and community volunteers. Its additional primary functions are to provide information and music entertainment to the community at-large while developing a revenue base through donors and sponsorships to support the station’s operations and meet one of the criteria required by its grant provider.
