This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. Job Description Summary
The Assistant Director of Graduate Business Programs for the Argyros School of Business and Economics is responsible for the recruiting, matriculation, academic advising and program management of the specialized masters’ degree programs. This includes recruitment of domestic and international students. The ideal candidate must have a sales-oriented approach and knowledge of graduate business marketing tactics and strategies to increase recruitment. The Assistant Director will proactively seek out prospective MS candidates and represent the school at MS recruitment fairs and events. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of specialized sales, preferably in the professional recruitment or higher education sectors. Looking for self-starting, motivated, relationship-driven, strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.

Responsibilities
- Proactively creates an outbound recruitment strategy to identify and develop new specialized masters’ degree candidates. Must meet and regularly exceed student recruitment goals. And motivated to increase enrollment
- Provides phone call, text and email outreach to prospective students and candidates
- Provides consultative services to prospective students regarding all details of the MS programs including application, matriculation, course overviews, program requirements, academic policies and procedures
- Provides academic advising to current MS students including course selection and schedule
- Schedules/hosts official application interviews with each candidate; makes recommendations as part of admissions selection committee
- Represents the Argyros School and MS programs at local and global recruitment fairs
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Graduate Business Programs and colleagues to address recruitment issues and opportunities while developing comprehensive strategies to achieve annual target enrollment goals
- Create, plan, execute and attend information sessions for prospects and yield events for admitted applicants
- Plan and attend industry-specific networking events, special projects, student activities, classes for MSRE
- Supports the development and utilization of recruiting management system. Build a strong communication flow for prospective and matriculated students
- Develops and maintains cooperative relationships with alumni, industry partners, other business schools and universities
- Supports the coordination and development of print and digital marketing materials; maintains specialized masters’ programs, marketing, and recruiting information on Argyros School website
- Gather and stay informed of industry best marketing practices in relation to recruitment trends, timelines, market analyses and competitor intelligence
- Track and maintains admission and enrollment data for specialized master’s students
- Specialized and relationship-based sales and/or recruiting experience with proven track record of achieving goals.
- Working knowledge of student career and academic advising principles, methods, and procedures.
- Experience working with digital recruitment and marketing strategies.
- Experience developing, implementing, and using CRM systems.
- Able to develop, plan and achieve short and long-range goals.
- Able to quickly understand/interpret and apply guidelines and procedures consistently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate data, assess alternatives and make appropriate decisions/recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written; especially for presentations.
- Demonstrates tact and diplomacy, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project-management skills.
- Motivated to work independently but able to thrive and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Experienced working in a professional environment with strong Microsoft Office skills/comfort.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience with higher education recruitment and admission; preferably for MBA programs.
- Ability to supervise and manage student employees or volunteers.
