Job Details

The Accounting Department at Niagara University is currently seeking adjunct instructors to teach accounting courses in a variety of accounting areas including, but not limited to, tax, audit, financial, managerial, and accounting information systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the provided course syllabus, maintaining attendance and class records, and delivering effective instruction in the classroom. While lecture materials will be provided, the instructor will have the opportunity to modify them to ensure active engagement and learning by students. Coordination with other course sections will be necessary to maintain continuity, and timely grading of assignments and tests will be required.

Candidates for the position should possess a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and related subjects. They should be able to plan and present instructional material in a clear and concise manner, using professional judgment and maintaining positive teacher-student relationships. A Master's degree in accounting or a closely related field is required, and prior experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
