Job Description Summary

As part of the Department of Psychiatry, Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Division, the Penn Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) offers consultations on diagnosis, coordinated specialty care treatment (CSC). A small team of dedicated individuals offers a 2-3 intervention program including psychotherapy, medication management, family support and support and skill development for adolescents and young adults (ages 16-30 years) who exhibit warning signs of emerging psychosis or early psychosis, and their families.

The PERC Psychiatrist will provide direct psychiatric care for patients suffering from early psychosis.

Job Description

Part Time Psychiatrist - Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt

The Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery program (PERC) is seeking a part-time psychiatrist for evaluation and management of persons with early psychosis. The psychiatrist will provide treatment for participants in an early intervention treatment program for young persons between the ages of 15 and 35 who have warning signs of psychosis or early psychosis.

Minimum Requirements: We are seeking an individual with a medical degree and must be board eligible/certified, possess experience in working with young people with serious mental illness and work well in a coordinates specialty care model.
