The visiting faculty member will have a 4/4 teaching load, which may be adjusted for candidates with appropriate degrees/credentials and the ability to contribute to our doctoral program in substantive ways (e.g., participating in and evaluating Clinical Competency Examinations), at the discretion of the department chair.

The position is to open to candidates with any specialization in psychology, though preference will be given to individuals with a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology. Applications from individuals with the capacity to teach assessment-related courses (e.g., MMPI, non-IQ cognitive assessments) at the doctoral level are particularly encouraged.

The preferred candidate will have earned a doctorate in psychology or a related field, but candidates with an M.A./M.S. in psychology or a related discipline and experience teaching undergraduate students will also be considered.
