Develops, coordinates, and assists with planning, developing, communicating, and administering programs and activities.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks
  • Develops, implements, and supports ACC faculty-led study abroad programs.
  • Coordinates and implements multi-media marketing and student outreach activities for ACC faculty-led study abroad programs, including travel to ACC campuses.
  • Develop and manage faculty-led study abroad program budgets and other budgets as needed.
  • Coordinates and supports international delegation and program visits.
  • Conduct student study abroad advising sessions and manage the study abroad application process.
  • Knowledge related to the purpose and/or content of the program and/or project.
  • Knowledge of planning and coordinating related projects and/or programs.
  • Maintaining an established work schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.
  • Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Working collaboratively.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
  • Prioritizing, implementing, and managing multiple projects and due dates.
  • Effectively working with diverse and multicultural persons.
  • Computer, web and database maintenance skills.
Technology Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications.
Required Work Experience
  • Two years related work experience.
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree.
Special Requirements
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel in the Austin area as required.
Other Preferred Qualifications
  • Assessing, developing, and maintaining website content.
  • Reviewing and preparing narrative and statistical reports and records.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Work is routinely performed in an office environment.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
