Adjunct Faculty of Economics



Carthage College’s Department of Economics is seeking adjunct faculty members for upcoming semesters (Fall 2023 and Spring 2024).

This posting is continuously open and qualified applicants will be part of a pool of candidates for review on a rolling basis as teaching needs are identified. The position remains open until filled. Candidates may be contacted in the future about future opportunities.

The typical teaching load in one semester consists of one or more sections of Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and/or Principles of Economics (both microeconomics and macroeconomics).

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in economics (Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred)
  • Experience in teaching college-level economics
