Position Summary
The candidate will primarily teach undergraduate classes in Business Communications, and may teach other Management classes as necessary. The candidate will engage in service activities within the College and University as appropriate.

Detailed Position Information
The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time renewable clinical instructor in Management starting August 16, 2023.

The primary focus of this position is effective undergraduate teaching in the area of Business Communication. Teaching will consist of 12 credit hours per semester from an existing but evolving curriculum. The successful candidate can expect to be engaged in instructional activities both inside and outside the classroom. Examples of these additional activities include: assisting in curriculum development, assessing and evaluating students’ communication development, supporting the activities of the communication excellence commons, and working to support the educational and programmatic goals of the department and college.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be familiar with business writing and norms for communication in the corporate environment, and have at least a master’s degree in Business Communication, Professional Writing, Communication Studies, or a similar discipline with at least 18 hours of relevant graduate course work.
