Principal Lecturer(s)

Applications are invited for appointment as Principal Lecturer(s) in the PCLL, Faculty of Law (Ref.: 519741), to commence from July 1, 2023 or as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, renewable on the basis of performance.

The Faculty of Law is the longest established law school in Hong Kong. It plays a leading role in legal education in Hong Kong and Asia, through its various undergraduate, research postgraduate, and taught postgraduate programmes including the PCLL covering a wide range of legal subject areas. It is the largest and oldest law teaching institution in Hong Kong, currently consisting of over 80 teaching members and over 2,400 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Applicants should possess a degree in Law or equivalent professional qualification, experience in legal practice, preferably in Hong Kong. They are expected to be capable of teaching the various subjects forming part of the PCLL as required with reference to the needs of the Faculty. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.
