Systems Analyst



Position Summary:

As we enter into a comprehensive fundraising campaign, we are growing our exceptional team of passionate, mission-driven Advancement professionals, looking for a Systems Analyst who will support the fundraising and engagement efforts as part of the Advancement team. The Systems Analyst will work with fundraising systems used by the Advancement Division to support, design, develop, and continuously improve the division's data analytics and reporting to improve the division's data-driven decision-making. This position will work in collaboration with other units within Advancement. Main responsibilities include report/dashboard design and creation, ad hoc data requests, Affinaquest Salesforce support, and support for various applications used in the division.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS program OR five years equivalent work experience working with data and information systems.
At least one year of experience working with data and information systems.
At least three years of experience in an information technology position.
Experience working with financial data sets.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Experience with database management applications and reporting tools.
MSSQL, Apsona, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Affinaquest experience.
Ability to talk with technical and non-technical people.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, be well organized, and be self-motivated.
Commitment to the University's Catholic/Marianist character, personal integrity, and strong work ethic.
Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
