Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or related field, or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, and eligibility for appropriate licensure in North Carolina.
The successful candidate will be expected to obtain licensure in North Carolina within one year of start date and maintain licensure for the continuation of the appointment.
License/Certification Required
Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or related field, or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, and eligibility for appropriate licensure in North Carolina (e.g. Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). The successful candidate will be expected to obtain licensure in North Carolina within one year of start date and maintain licensure for the continuation of the appointment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties of the position include:
- short-term individual, group, and couples therapy;
- psychological assessment;
- crisis intervention;
- consultation;
- outreach and psychoeducational workshops (sometimes after hours);
- clinical supervision (if educational / licensure requirements met to provide supervision);
- training; case management as needed; liaison/consultant relationships with university partners;
- and rotating after hours emergency/crisis on call responsibilities as back-up to ProtoCall.
All clinical staff positions involve some administrative duties and roles.
Suggested Salary Range
Commensurate with experience.
