Position Summary

Trinity College seeks to hire a Summit Fellow for Communications and Marketing for a two-year position. Summit Fellows work to advance particular strategic goals and initiatives, as well as support College-wide implementation of Trinity’s bicentennial strategic plan, “ Summit .” The Summit Fellow will report to the Director of Design, as well as work closely with the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communications and Senior Director of Integrated Marketing on College-wide projects with specific attention toward the Bicentennial and “All In” campaign. As a member of the Communications and Marketing team, the Summit Fellow will learn techniques and various strategies of creative design and production. The Summit Fellow will also learn valuable lessons in marketing strategy and the art of graphic design, photography management, and digital content.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist with graphic design projects.
- Assist and learn about the print process.
- Assist with the online campus Calendar.
- Assist with student engagement projects.
- Coordinate and organize photo assets, tagging, and curation.
- Assist with office coordination and administrative organization.
- Assist and learn about digital content production.
- Interest in photography and videography is desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, etc.)
- Must have experience with the Microsoft Suite of Office applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel)
- Must be familiar with Photo Shelter or other digital asset management tools
- Must be organized and an excellent interpersonal communicator
- A portfolio of professional creative work is required
