Job Description

The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor position from outstanding candidates with expertise in business law.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in business law and related fields using traditional and online modalities. Maintain AACSB faculty qualifications through, as appropriate, industry engagement, legal practice, and/or research and publication. Support the school’s mission through internal and external service.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess a J.D. and have at least 7 years of professional experience in areas related to expected teaching assignments.

Experience, professional engagement, and/or research and publications must allow for candidate to meet ACSB faculty qualifications.

Full Time/Part Time

This is a 9-month ranked non-tenure track, full-time, faculty position with benefits.The start date is Fall 2023 semester. Opportunity for ranked promotion. Our academic schedule and workload promotes a positive work/life balance.

Salary

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and credentials.
