Essential functions (job duties):

The Department of Neurology is actively growing multiple clinical and translational research programs. The Department remains highly active in both clinical and basic research with nationally recognized programs in Neuroimmunology, Inherited Peripheral Nerve Diseases, Neuroimaging, Epilepsy, and Neurocritical Care.
Abundant opportunities exist for collaboration with basic science departments and the Translational Neuroscience Institute.

We are currently recruiting a subspecialist in Neuromuscular Diseases. The appointment is at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level on clinician educator track.

Participate in neuromuscular diseases research opportunities including clinical trials.

Participate in educational programs of the Department of Neurology for medical students, residents and Clinical Neurophysiology fellows

Participate in conferences and seminars of the Department of Neurology.

Perform other work related duties as assigned by Chair or his designee.

Unique duties:

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree required.

Valid Michigan medical license.

Rank commensurate with credentials.

Board certified/board eligible in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular medicine by ABPN.
