This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Position Purpose

1. Manage and supervise approximately 39 employees, including supervisors, custodians, support services and student staff.
2. Serve as Facilities Planning and Operations contact person with University departments, Building Managers, Deans and Directors throughout the University. Provide outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations of our constituents.
3. Create and maintain daily and weekly schedule to track personnel and inventory in the custodial and support services area.
4. Assist the training administrator withinFPOwith the planning, developing, coordinating and conducting staff training, development of activities and organizational development activities. Cultivate a culture that embraces and recognizes employees as our most valuable resource.
5. Manage the custodial and support service budget. Promote and provide effective stewardship of all University resources.
6. Assist the Facilities Service Manager as required. Other duties as assigned.

Experience

1. Five (5) years custodial experience in an educational or commercial setting
2. Three (3) years supervisory or management experience.
3. Event set-up experience preferred

-Ongoing training related to the position.
-May be required to be fit tested for respirators, which requires a physical exam.
