This new role is for a highly strategic and experienced creative owner that can execute, direct and inspire high-quality work with a developing Marketing and Communications team.

You will be hands on creating dynamic, on brand and visually appealing digital and print campaign materials while leading a small growing team that will reach deeper and grow creatively and professionally. The ideal candidate must have the ability to strategize, conceptualize, design, and direct solutions for a wide range of projects and campaigns, and requires an individual that is interested in understanding and developing communications around the complex challenges of applications, systems, and designs of a cohesive user experience across a full spectrum of channels.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
  • Develop collaborative structure; meet to review creative assignments, set timelines, and collaborate/ideate.
  • Mentor and manage team members, make assignment fun and goal oriented.
  • Help present ideas and build skills within the team.
  • Understand trends that ensure team members are actively assessing and adding skills—create a running list to ensure there is a lead that teaches others and reports back.
  • Understand the depth of the recruitment funnel and audiences of prospects, current students, and alumni.
  • Take advantage of tools like Google Docs, SalesForce, HubSpot, TDX, BaseCamp, etc.
  • Develop creative briefs and strategies
  • Work with internal teams as a creative representative to ensure cohesive UX.
  • Assess team members, make recommendations for reviews and skill growth areas, hiring needs, vendor supplements and team strengthening.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Illustration, or
related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-year experience creating digital assets for web, display, mobile, print, and video.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign.
  • Video and Audio Capabilities preferred.
  • Experience with higher education enrollment marketing preferred.
