Position Summary

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position in the Division of Psychology at any rank. The primary duties include teaching 24 units for the academic year, research/scholarship, and service to the community. The position will start August 2023

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a master’s degree in psychology or a related field and have a background in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling. An active license (e.g., marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, psychology) in the state of California and doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PsyD) in psychology or a related field are preferred.

Teaching Responsibilities

Duties include teaching in the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program. Candidates are expected to be actively engaged in research and/or scholarship and serve with purpose and distinction within the community. A strong interest in and commitment to the integration of faith and learning is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship, and demonstrated relational skills. This position will remain open until filled.
