Position Summary

As a Research Scientist, in the Division of Hematology/Oncology , Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), you will perform independent and directed research to achieve the objectives of the research project with the division.

Task that the position will be responsible for may include but not limited to:
  • Requires the ability to apply the theory, concepts and principles in the field of study or discipline.
  • Data collection and data analysis
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Drafting and preparing manuscripts with the PI, and
  • Presentation of data at national and international scientific meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master of Science, with research experience in the handling and use of animals.
  • Basic professional knowledge of the disciplinary field and the ability to relate this knowledge to various phenomena under study.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthesis
  • Demonstrated outstanding performance throughout their previous studies with their own publications and current research grants.
  • Highly motivated and exceptionally organized team player with good communication skills.
  • Strong language and writing English skills are also important.
