Provides professional support to the VC/VP for Marketing & Communications; coordinates, directs, and manages the executive office and division administrative affairs; and maintains effective relationships with internal and external officials and their staff.

  1. Acts as advisor to VC/VP and senior managers in facilitating effective decision making regarding operations and administration of division.
  2. Coordinates and manages VC/VP schedule with university administrators, Board of Regents, Alumni, community leaders, staff and students.
  3. Makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling of work in the division office.
  4. Functionally supervises projects in Executive Office and division.
  5. Prepares weekly and monthly manager meetings and follows-up on action items.
  6. Provides supervision, guidance and mentorship to division Administrative Assistants and IT Apple/Mac Specialist.
  7. Manages financial division operations.
  8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelors and 5 years experience

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
