Accounting:  Assistant Professor-Tenure Stream, beginning Fall 2023

The Division of Management & Education is currently seeking applicants for a tenure-stream position at the level of Assistant Professor of Accounting, beginning Fall 2023.

Requirements:  Ph.D. or D.B.A. with an emphasis in Accounting, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates is required.  ABDs will also be considered.   Applicants must be qualified to teach Managerial Accounting, Federal Income and Corporate Taxes, Strategic Cost Management, Auditing, and Advanced Accounting.  Tax Experience and Advanced Certification from the IRS are highly preferred. Additionally, we seek candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their scholarship, teaching and/or service. We especially encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups in the field.  Research, advising, and community service are also position requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching introductory and advanced courses in Accounting Collaborating with faculty/course coordinator on course curriculum Conducting research Engaging in university service Student advising
