About the Position:

The Office of Graduate Studies is the central resource for graduate education on our campus. It provides leadership and support for graduate program curriculum development, offers guidance for state regulations and university policy, administers scholarship and fellowship programs for graduate students, provides academic support and services through the Graduate Studies Center in Langsdorf Hall, hosts graduate student events, provides graduate advisor support and leads graduate student success initiatives. Working closely with campus partners, the office oversee admissions, enrollment, degree progress and graduation to provide comprehensive support for all graduate students. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Graduate Titan Degree Audit (TDA) Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non-Exempt). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

The Graduate Titan Degree Audit (TDA) Analyst directly reports to the Assistant Vice President of Graduate Studies and works closely with staff in the Office of Graduate Studies, the Division of Information Technology, and graduate advisors from our many graduate programs. Builds and updates program templates for graduate degree programs, processes student exceptions, and trains and communicates with graduate advisors and the campus community. Duties also includes programming, testing, and implementation as needed. Maintains degree requirements in the TDA, made through curricular updates each year. Handles changes requested to student's individual study plans, made by advisor request. Works closely with the Support Services Specialist (the lead for the TDA Analyst) to improve our online advising tools that may arise in the future. May also be assigned other duties to support the office or students as needed, such as technical support for events, or website maintenance. Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.


Preferred Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of graduate CSU policies and curriculum. Knowledge of interpretation of degree requirements. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, uAchieve, and website maintenance. Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited 4-year college or university.
