Director of Strategic Communications

Your U.S. Air Force Academy is looking for the next Director of Strategic Communications who serves as the senior advisor to the Superintendent and senior staff on all matters relating to internal and external communications. The Director, a GS-15, leads a talented and creative team telling the U.S. Air Force Academy’s story. The team works in a dynamic information environment, supporting senior leader engagements and reaching stakeholders in the Pentagon, Congress, non-Federal entities, and academia, as well as parents, alumni and prospective cadets. Step up to the challenge of directing communications for our military mission and standing as a 4-year university, producing 1,000 new 2nd Lieutenants each year for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force.
