Job Summary
The Auburn University Office of Enrollment Services seeks an Administrative Support Specialist who will assist in the development, maintenance, review and update of Tele-counseling communications while supervising student employees.
NOTE : Position hours are Monday-Thursday 9:30am – 6:30pm and Friday 7:45am-4:45pm.

Essential Functions
The individual in this position will assist in the development, maintenance, review and update of Tele-counseling communication; identify and maintain target contact lists for Tele-counseling purposes; maintain student recruitment database; oversee data entry into student recruitment database; provide customer service; lead, support, and assist co-workers in communications efforts; supervise student employees; assist with materials load scheduling; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Level I High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years experience in administrative support services.
Substitutions allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

Knowledge of office rules, procedures and operations that require previous training and experience to perform is required.

Desired qualifications include: proficiency in Excel, Word, Access and Banner; ability to prioritize multiple projects for three areas; and interpersonal skills as position involves interaction with prospective students and families as well as other University units.
