The Brumbaugh lab is part of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado-Boulder. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • This position includes both research and administrative opportunities.
Administrative Duties:
  • Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines.
  • Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols.
  • Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines.
  • Oversee ordering of research items.
  • Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders.

Wet Lab Duties:
  • Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables.
  • Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies.
  • Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival.
  • Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab.
What You Should Know

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this full-time position is $35,000 - $50,000 annually.

What We Require
  • B.S., B.A., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
What You Will Need
  • The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, powerpoint).
  • A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology.
What We Would Like You to Have
  • Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology, and animal husbandry (mouse work) is preferred.
