Description: The Family, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences department at Queens College of the City University of New York invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position (starting in August 2023). We seek applicants whose research activities do not require laboratory facilities, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: nutritional epidemiology and data science; nutritional genomics; nutrition and physical activity; community/public health nutrition; global nutrition; food and nutrition policy; nutrition environment, nutrition security and sustainability. The successful candidate will be expected to develop/establish a robust research program in an area of nutrition listed above, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and research supported by external grants; teach undergraduate and graduate (master's level) courses; serve on departmental and/or college-wide committees; and be committed to teaching and mentoring a diverse body of urban students.
