Job Summary

The College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor. Successful candidates will be dedicated to teaching, promoting diversity and inclusion, and enthusiastic about establishing an excellent and integrated anatomy curriculum across undergraduate and graduate programs in the College. In addition to teaching responsibilities in the departments of Health Sciences, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant, this position will include an Assistant Director role of 6 hours per week assisting the director with administration of the College’s new advanced Gross Anatomy Lab.

Essential Functions
  • Instructing undergraduate and graduate students using an integrated anatomy curriculum
  • Provide assistance to the Director of the Gross Anatomy Lab
Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D or Doctorate
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Commitment to teaching, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and service and growth as an academic faculty member
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Evidence of innovative thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to collaboration in anatomy curriculum across multiple departments, including undergraduate and graduate programs
  • Alignment with the goals and direction of the Health Sciences Division
  • Organization and knowledge of Anatomy Lab operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Clinical perspective on anatomy
