Description

The Music Department of Colby College in Waterville, Maine invites applications for an Applied Music Instructor in Voice (one year, part-time, renewable) beginning the fall of 2023. The successful candidate will have experience in vocal performance and pedagogy at all levels.

Principal duties will include teaching applied voice lessons with possible additional performance opportunities. The person occupying the position will also be expected to be actively involved in the Music Department's efforts to attract qualified student musicians to the College and participate as an adjudicator in auditions and recitals. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
