Position Title
Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment and Marketing

Overview

Support the Director in meeting the strategic initiatives and enrollment goals for graduate programs.

Essential Duties:
  1. Direct the day-to-day operations of the College’s Graduate Assistant (GA) program. Serve as the primary point of contact for all GA matters and manage GA web content. Coordinate all GA hiring, onboarding, payment, and terming. Manage GA online platform. Maintain the integrity of GA policy implementation and compliance. Advise GA’s, supervisors, and graduate program staff on GA policies. Monitor GA academic and professional performance. Mediate between GA’s and supervisors.
  2. Implement a cohesive marketing plan for graduate programs in all schools, working collaboratively with the Director. Manage the marketing schedule with an appropriate media mix to complement our graduate program offers. Compose marketing materials that highlight program benefits and outcomes. Coordinate advertisements with internal and external vendors. Track marketing expenditures and comply with budgets. Ensure compliance with brand standards for a consistent tone and style across all collateral, working with MarCom when necessary. Engage with enrollment marketing colleagues at professional association events. Regularly attend webinars to learn best practices from industry professionals.
  3. Develop, maintain, and update website content for all graduate programs. Optimize all websites, with special attention to Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) and page loading speed. Evaluate and manage website performance, regularly reviewing web analytics and identifying opportunities for improvement. Audit content to eliminate redundant, duplicate, or outdated information. Ensure compliance with brand standards for a consistent tone and style, working with MarCom when necessary.
  4. Support the day-to-day operations of admissions for graduate students in all schools, including the application process in Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) system Slate Technolutions, respond to email and telephone queries, assist with event planning and execution, and compose segmented email campaigns to automate via the CRM throughout the admission funnel. Communicate with the Office of the Registrar, program directors, and other internal constituents regarding admitted students, their application status, and matriculation. Ensure careful compliance with FERPA .
  5. Supervise a work study student and/or a graduate assistant.


Marginal Duties:

1. Perform all other duties as may be required.

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years’ experience in higher education, marketing, communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Cross-cultural engagement skills
  • Understanding of the selective college admission process
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
