Interprofessional Project Administrator – Center for Interprofessional Education

Position Overview

The Center's members work as a team to support faculty delivering interprofessional education. The Interprofessional Project Administrator will:

– Provide administrative and logistical management of several projects, events, and activities within The Center
– Effectively use tools and techniques to organize, analyze, and disseminate assessment and evaluation data to stakeholders
– Perform budgetary and procurement duties
– Support strategic development programs and activities
– Crosstrain with other Center members to support routine and special administrative and logistical tasks

The Center supports a flexible work schedule. Due to the unique nature of interprofessional education and collaborative care, this role may be required to be on campus for various events, courses, and activities throughout the year, some of which may include limited and planned evenings and/or weekends.

Required Qualifications

– Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
– Ability to clearly articulate project information and provide detail
– Proficient in ubiquitous office packages (e.g., Google Suite, MS Office suite, etc.)
– Demonstrated problem solving skills, independent critical thinking skills, effective time management, and effective communication skills
– Excellent judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
– Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as an employee at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience managing project budgets and fiscal processes
– Working knowledge of Canvas, VCU's learning management system of record, survey and data management software (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap, SPSS, R, etc.), purchasing and procurement systems ( e.g., RealSource, Banner, etc.)
– Working knowledge of Project Management Institute (https://www.pmi.org) principles, practices, and concepts (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
