POSITION
The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at North Park University seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty member to begin Fall 2023. The successful candidate will teach in exercise science or related fields, based on their qualifications, and needs of the school. Additional responsibilities include the advisement and mentorship of students, implementation of a scholarly agenda, and participation in university wide service. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in exercise science, health science, exercise physiology, or closely related field; ABD will be considered.
• Evidence of a research agenda.
• Ability or willingness to learn to use instructional technology efficiently.
• Ability to incorporate the university’s Christian, city-centered, and intercultural distinctives into teaching and service.

Desired Qualifications
• Demonstration of successful teaching at the university level.
• Expertise in exercise physiology and/or health fitness.
• Health or fitness-related certification.
• Professional experience in an exercise science-related field
• Previous experience with academic advising
