Clinical Assistant Professor - Economics

Description

The John E. Walker Department of Economics in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for a non-tenure track, Clinical Assistant Professor position in Economics.

Job duties will include teaching a 3/3 load at the undergraduate for various courses in economics such as principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, or other courses that align with applicant's areas of emphasis or research interest. We will do our best to keep the course preparations to no more than two a year.


Qualifications

The successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in economics or a Masters' Degree with work experiences.

Faculty members are also expected to make service contributions to the department. Opportunities exist for promotion based on performance. In addition to a vibrant undergraduate program. There are also opportunities to teach and contribute to our certified M.S. Economic Analytics. The preferred start date is August 15, 2023.
