About the Program

Drexel University’s Entertainment & Arts Management Bachelor of Science program provides an immersive learning environment centered on the creative industries, one of the fastest-growing economic sectors in the United States and around the world. Tremendous growth in media and the arts has created a need for professionals who can combine both management and leadership skills with a thorough understanding of art, entertainment, and media.

The EAM curriculum consists of a core, built-in business minor, concentration courses, and suggested electives. The core is made up of classes designed to familiarize students with a broad array of skillsets required of all managers operating within the creative industries, regardless of their disciplinary focus, their nonprofit or for-profit status, or their overall career goals. At the conclusion of freshmen year, students choose a concentration: Media Arts (Cinema & Television or Digital Media), Performing Arts (Dance, Theater, or a general Performing Arts focus), Visual Arts. Within those concentrations students focus on the history, current practice, and management of the associated creative disciplines.
