Description

The Economics Department at Colby College invites applications for one or more visiting positions, possibly in two-year appointments, for the 2023-24 academic year. Successful candidates must demonstrate their potential for excellence in teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach courses that contribute to our core curriculum and elective offerings. The teaching expectations for each visiting position will be up to five courses spread across two academic semesters, with the potential to count multiple sections of the same course toward this total load. Based on anticipated departmental needs, we have a preference for candidates with the ability to teach Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, as well as Macroeconomic Theory and/or Statistical Methods and Econometrics.

Qualifications

Candidates with a PhD or ABD in economics are welcome to apply.
