Job Description
The primary function of this position is to provide project management support for design and construction projects.
Duties include:
- Support Project Manager in developing project scope, schedule and budget, for projects that are designed by contracted and/or internal consultants (architects, engineers and interior designers).
- Manage the implementation of design and construction process and deliverables.
- Coordinate and contract with consultants to support the project scope of work. Request and receive proposals from consultants.
- Maintain project cost and schedule information and continually monitor progress and status as the project design develops. Support Project Manager in tracking deviations.
- Coordinate and manage the inclusion and scheduling of all campus and outside stakeholders. Coordinate project committee/design team/campus stakeholders including the set up and maintenance of project specific contacts lists, scheduling meetings and distributing invitations, agendas and meeting notes.
- Assist Project Manager in setting bid date, pre-bid meeting, coordinate site visits by bidders.
- Coordinate existing conditions surveys by architects and engineers needed during the design phase, including coordination of escorts, access, and scheduling any maintenance or other facilities staff as part of those visits.
- Initiate and facilitate bidding processes.
- Assist with obtaining and tracking building permits.
- Track project progress and log, file and archive information and documentation with project management software.
- Other Duties as assigned.
$48,900-$88,730 Annually

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate shall have experience in the design and construction field.
