Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Urban Planning and Design (Ref.: 519634) (to commence on May 1, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicant should possess a Master's degree in relevant field, with substantial experience in professional practices in urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, or related disciplines. Dedication to teaching and nurturing of future talents is a must, and prior experiences in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in universities are highly preferred. Applicants who are members, or eligible for membership of professional institutions in urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture or architecture are desirable.

The appointee will teach theory, studio, and capstone courses in a master's degree programme in urban design. He/She is also expected to contribute to curriculum development and programme administration.

A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for Senior Lecturer/Lecturer, or up to 10% of basic salary for Assistant Lecturer. For Senior Lecturer, housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
