About the Opportunity

Northeastern University is advancing its next generation of experiential learning. Through the development of a dynamic, personalized experiential learning engine that ensures learning experiences that are guided towards employability, we aim to equip all university learners (inclusive of both for-credit and non-credit settings) with a differentiated and integrative learning experience no matter their learning path, modality, or location.

To execute on this vision, we seek a Sr Data Analyst who will be responsible for the business intelligence artifacts to support our vision. This will contribute to the selection of market-relevant learning products and high quality learning experiences with meaningful outcomes. The Sr Data Analyst will work with end users to develop and iterate on self-service reports and dashboards with an eye towards automation and re-use.

This team member will be part of a multidisciplinary team, and will enable data-driven decision-making, and play a key role in the development of data rich features for this team, the learner, and our network of partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in relevant subject area
• 3+ years experience with statistics
• 3+ years working with databases, SQL
• 3+ years developing robust dashboards using Tableau
• 3+ years creating visuals using data visualization best practices
• 2+ year administering Tableau site roles/permissions
• 2+ years developing robust scripts with Python for data cleaning / processing (e.g. pandas/seaborn/plotly/dash)
• Predictive analytics experience a plus
• Interest / experience with market research is a plus
• XML, JSON
• Project management, time management and communication skills necessary to execute the responsibilities in a collaborative, academic setting
• Teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to advise, and clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical audiences
