Qualifications:
EDUC 572-02 - Research Seminar I

Moraga, CA Campus: February 6, 2023 - May 26, 2023, Monday, 7:15pm - 10:00pm

Research Seminar I is a 3-unit course that is required for students who are pursuing a master’s degree in the Kalmanovitz School of Education at Saint Mary’s College of California. This course has three primary goals: Help students become skilled and critical consumers of education research; encourage educational and clinical professionals to base their work on inquiry and reflection, or to become practitioner-researchers; and provide the tools to prepare students to conduct original research and/or develop a clinical application in pursuit of their Master’s thesis and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • MA degree or higher

  • Prior experience in teaching research methods

  • Prior experience teaching in online modalities highly preferred
