Job Description
Providence College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor in English with a specialty in Journalism and Digital Media beginning in the fall of 2023.
Candidates should have outstanding and ongoing publications, a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching, and a strong commitment to serving diverse students through a lens of equity and inclusion. Additionally, candidates must have a willingness to be active in service to the department, the college, and the community.
Essential Duties
This position comes with a teaching load of 3-3. The successful candidate can expect to teach first-year core writing courses and Journalism.
Education and Experience Required
Candidates should possess an MA or PhD in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
