Position Description
The Programmer Analyst IV's role is to assist with the development of project plans to test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. This position is also responsible for supervising and/or leading the development of new systems, directing changes to existing systems, controlling the interfaces between the systems, initiating complex feasibility studies, and making recommendations of the action to be taken. The position is also expected to assist senior departmental management in determining the strategic IT direction for the area and/or unit and, as such, may interface with key IT leadership. Discretion and sound judgment is expected.

- Work with other Data Analysts on large, complex data sets
- Work with business operation leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
- Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
- Use graphs, infographics and other methods t,o visualize data
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
- Structure large data sets to find usable information
- Work with team members to process information
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience in the Data Analysis space
- Experience in developing and maintaining database and data systems
- Experience in data extraction and redesign methods
- Experience in using data from multiple sources to assist in improving healthcare outcomes
- Strong knowledge of data analytics software like Power BI, or Tableau
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
