Job Description Summary
Responsible for administering the Administrative and Financial Services department technical and operational requirements including strategic planning, project planning/management, ERP technical support, staff supervision, budget management, workflow activities, end user support and setting priorities.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in information systems, computer science or related field
- 5 years’ experience in IT management, enterprise project management or related field
- Business analysis and documentation experience.
- Minimum of three years management and supervision experience.
- Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Regular attendance is a requirement of this job.
- Knowledge of managing enterprise administrative systems to support business processes as well as technical operations of database management, applications, processes, and supporting technologies.
- Knowledge of Project management
- Ability to work with a significant level of detail

ESSENTIAL DUTES
- Responsible for overseeing the management of the Administrative and Financial Services ERP database, and technology to insure optimal operation, security, recovery and to assure business continuity.
- Responsible for maintaining an awareness of the latest technological trends and developments as they relate to the business requirements for the college and administrative system enhancements.
- Responsible for evaluating vendor software products and developing recommendations regarding college use.
- Responsible for overseeing programming staff to design, develop, test, debug, implement and document complex computer programs and applications.
- Responsible for managing the daily technical, operational and training support provided to user departments.
- Responsible overseeing the design of file structures, audit trails, reports, test databases, and data backup and recovery procedures.
- Responsible for changes/enhancements that improve program performance and/or application processing.
- Responsible for leading and participating in project planning and management.
- Responsible for providing daily and project-oriented leadership for Administrative and Financial Services and end users.
- Responsible for the Administrative and Financial Services department’s strategic planning
- Assume leadership role in vendor software upgrades and applications that can be used to enhance the college’s business processes.
- Responsible for working as a liaison with administrative system vendors and campus community to keep campus systems at current releases and to provide vendor consulting and training.
- Participate in College committees to represent Administrative and Financial Services.
- Participate in management activities with the PGCC Technology Services directors and Vice President.
- Performs all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college’s sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
