Juniata College is a co-educational liberal arts college highly regarded for its academic excellence. Juniata is a founding member of the Landmark Conference, which is committed to conducting intercollegiate athletics programs in a way that recognizes, as paramount, the centrality of the academic mission at each member institution.
Juniata invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. This is a short-term stipend position with an immediate start date that will correspond with the completion of current season.
Responsibilities include: assisting with all aspects of practice and matches, including individual and small group instruction. Ability to string racquets, driver college transport vehicles and hit with 6-8 UTR rated players preferred. Other duties as assigned by head coach.

Position Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a background in competitive tennis as a coach or an athlete, an understanding or respect for the NCAA Division III philosophy, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment that values community.
Valid driver’s license required, clear of major violations. Juniata College reserves the right to review driving records to determine suitability for position.
Supervision Required/Given
This position reports to the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach.
