The Marketing Department at Rutgers Business School—Newark and
New Brunswick, invites applications for the position of Assistant
Professor of Professional Practice with a starting date of
September 1, 2023. Rutgers Business School is ranked #1 among
public business schools in the Northeast US and spans campuses in
Newark and New Brunswick. Faculty members are expected to teach at
both locations.
Responsibilities:
The faculty member is expected to teach courses in Retail Marketing, New Product Planning, Marketing Research, International Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, and Non-profit Marketing. The normal teaching load for this position is 24 credits (generally 8 courses) per year.
In addition, the faculty member is expected to be involved in program/course development, student counseling, and curriculum review, and to actively participate in other service activities in the Marketing Department and Rutgers Business School.
Requirements
A minimum of a Master's degree in a related discipline and
substantial professional experience are required. All offers

Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of any COVID-19 vaccine authorized or approved for use in the United States by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Eligibility for a booster against COVID-19 varies and is explained on the University’s web site located at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
