Position Summary
The School of Architecture and Planning at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York ( SUNY ), invites candidates who can enthusiastically inspire and engage architecture, planning, and real estate development students to learn by doing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have the ability to teach seated or online courses in architecture and design-related disciplines or conduct research/service in support of the mission and vision of the school.
Essential Functions:
The University at Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning is the only school of architecture and planning within the 64-campus State University of New York ( SUNY ) system. The school offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Master of Urban Planning, Master of Architecture, Master of Science in Architecture, and Master of Science in Real Estate Development, MS in International Development and Global Health, PhD in Urban Planning, and also offers advanced graduate certificates in Historic Preservation and Affordable Housing. As a community of thought leaders, aspiring architects, urban planners, and real estate professionals, we think and act on the edge of knowledge and practice, guided by a culture of experimentation, a core belief in learning by doing, and a spirit of public service and inclusion.
