Tenure Track Faculty – Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates are being sought in the areas of computer engineering, hardware-software interface, embedded systems, sensors, robotics, autonomous systems, and computer vision. Other related areas will also be considered.

This position will be expected to develop and teach lecture and laboratory courses, establish and maintain an active, externally funded research program and conduct high quality research involving students primarily at the graduate level, Candidate must have a PhD in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related field and a strong academic record.

The Electrical Engineering Department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering accredited by ABET, a Master of Science degree, and a multidisciplinary PhD degree in Engineering and Applied Science. We maintain excellent teaching and research programs in computer engineering, signal processing, communications, controls, energy and power systems, neural-engineering and electromagnetics. Salary range per 9 month academic year: Assistant Professor: $90,000 - $100,000; Associate Professor: $110,000 - $130,000. Additional salary for summer months can be sourced from research funds or for additional duties.
