Job Description:

Assist in research on the cognitive neuroscience of decision-making, motivation, and cognitive control. The lab studies these process es using computational modeling and measures of behavior, affect, and brain activity (functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) in health y participant s and in population s with psyc hiatric disor ders . Responsibilitie s includ e experimental design and development, recruitment and testing of experimental subjects, data analysis, and general lab administration.

This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of renewal depending on the funding source.

Education and Experience
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field required
  • 1-2 years’ experience preferred
  • Previous research experience in a psychology or neuroscience lab strongly preferred. Experience with collection and/or analysis of neuroimaging data (e.g., EEG or FMRI) preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet) required. Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, Python) strongly preferred
  • Good organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
